All brokers should be aware of the HMO licensing changes that came into effect on Monday this week.
Any property with 5 or more people or 2 separate households will now be subject to HMO licensing.
The government will also enforce:
- Minimum room sizes
- Waste and recycling disposal requirements
- Landlord fit and proper tests
