Zurich UK has revealed that millions of UK adults do not feel financially resilient and that they would not be able to manage a financial shock or loss of income.
17.6 Million is the equivalent to 1 in 3 people in the UK that feel they wouldn’t be able to recover from an unexpected financial shock.
Despite these worrying statistics Zurich UK said only 1 in 10 have income protection, a product that shields income against any illness or injury which could prevent an individual from working.
It’s vital that we continue to educate people about the products that are out there and available to them when it comes to protecting their income should disaster occur.
